Full spools, almost empty spools, and empty spools of thread

After hubby knocked over my box of thread, I decided I really should clean it out. This past spring at a church sale I got this beautiful wall hanging thread holder for a dollar or two. For the last several months it has hung with just 6 spools on it, dispute the fact I have a box full of thread.

Here is what it looks like now

I have a small box of spools that are nearly empty or colors I’m choosing to give away. Our local Linus organization accepts thread donations (I’m just giving them the full ones), you can check with your local Linus group to see if they accept them as well. If you enjoy projects though, I found a huge amount of inspiration online.
