I am thankful for pictures and memories

A year ago today I sat on the edge of my great Aunt’s hospital bed and held her hand as she took her final breath. She was 93 years old, but it still felt like she was taken too soon, but I know she is better where she is now. I’m thankful for all the memories I got to share with her over the 34 years of my life. She was my grandmother’s identical twin sister and spent all holidays with us. Some memories seem to fade, so I’m thankful for pictures to help me remember all the wonderful times with my aunt.
