Today I am thankful for….

Some days it is harder to find something to be thankful for. We all have those days, where nothing seems to be working out and the weight of our lives seems heavy. But as the saying goes, there is always something to be thankful for.
Today I am thankful for handkerchiefs. A few years ago I stopped using tissues and switched to hankies and I don’t miss tissues one bit. Hankies are softer, thicker, and look nicer. They can be washed and dried with your towels or sheets and fit nicely in a basket. That is where I keep mine, in a basket next to my bed. Most of mine are pretty vintage lacey ones, but I also have a few plain ones and some men’s that I purchased from the store. I have been sneezing every day for about a month now, so having them has been a blessing!
No red nose here. No extra expense of buying tissues. No filling up a trash can with waste.
